Origin

On April 24th, 2015, YouTuber WolverryMusic[1] uploaded a remix of the song "ME!ME!ME!" (shown below). The video gained 6,474,000 views and 67,000 likes in four years.

TikTok user antinightcore uploaded a clip of the remix which has been used in 40,200 e-girl factory videos on TikTok. The earliest TikTok parody video is unknown.

Spread

On January 27th, 2019, Daring Compilation[2] uploaded the first "E-Girl Factory Tik Tok Meme Compilation" to YouTube (shown below). The video gained 8,860 views and 166 likes in two days.

On the same day, YouTuber Willanator[3] uploaded "E-Girl Factory – Tik Tok Ironic Meme Compilation (2019)" (shown below). The video accumulated 888 views and 18 likes in two days.
