About
Emma Frost is a superheroine in the Marvel Comics universe created by writer Chris Claremont and artist John Byrne. She first appeared in The Uncanny X-Men issue #129 in October 1979. Known as the White Queen of the Hellfire Club, Emma Frost has evolved from a villain into a central figure within the X-Men comics, displaying complex motivations and abilities. Online, the character has been featured in many fan art depictions, photoshops and memetic content since the early 2010s, reprising iconic designs the character has had over the decades, as well as memorable catchphrases. Her inclusion in the multiplayer player-versus-player (PvP) shooter Marvel Rivals in early April 2025 sparked a series of new content about Frost's character design, powers and other features, similar to Squirrel Girl.
