The DaFuq!?Boom! vs Invisible Narratives controversy, usually referenced using the hashtag “ #BringBoomBack ”, is a controversy within the Skibidi Toilet community concerning the relationship between the series' creator DaFuq!?Boom! (real name Alexey Gerasimov (Алексей Герасимов)) and the licensing company Invisible Narratives.

Origin

On October 23, 2025, the DaFuq!?Boom! YouTube and Twitter made a post, obstensibly written by Gerasimov himself, announcing that he would no longer be the sole creator for Skibidi Toilet and instead from now on oversee a team of creators and animators as executive producer.

Two days later, on October 26, 2025, the first new episode of Skibidi Toilet since the announcement was published, titled “skibidi toilet: emergence | episode 1”. The video was poorly reviewed by fans, many expressing that the plot and animation was inferior to previous episodes, as well as criticising the pivot from Source Filmmaker to Unreal Engine.
