Origin

On September 30th, 2023, Instagram^[1] user @bugdiepie posted a meme that had a top caption reading, "Bad bitch said she don't fw skibidi toilet" and an image of a McDonald's drive-thru employee with his head back, looking disappointed. Over the course of three weeks, the post gained roughly 3,400 likes (shown below). It is currently unknown where the photo of the McDonald's employee originates from.

Spread

The image quickly gained reposts on Instagram^[2] on the day of its upload, September 30th, 2023. Soon after, the image was reposted by TikToker^[3] @x.nd.s3x in a photo slideshow that included the image multiple times. The slideshow received roughly 1.3 million plays and 206,400 likes in 19 days. In the days that followed, similar slideshows with the image repeating itself were posted to TikTok,^[4] using the same song by rapper Babytron.

On October 18th, 2023, TikToker^[5] @kenopsia.org posted a slideshow that showed text messages between him and another person, seemingly a woman, in which he asked her if she liked Skibidi Toilet. The slideshow ended with the "Bad Bitch Said She Don't Fw Skibidi Toilet" meme (photos shown below). Over the course of six days, the photos gained roughly 210,700 plays and 41,700 likes.

Inspired by the slideshow, other TikTokers posted similar ones. For instance, on October 22nd, 2023, TikToker^[6] @.zmqt posted a slideshow that replaced "Skibidi Toilet" with Silly Cat memes, gaining roughly 593,000 plays and 141,100 likes in two days (photos shown below).
