Overview

Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul, billed as *"Bragging Rights", was an exhibition boxing that took place on June 6th, 2021. The match featured champion boxer Floyd Mayweather and YouTuber and social media personality Logan Paul and ended without an official winner.

Background

In November 2019, Logan Paul reportedly challenged Floyd Mayweather to a boxing match. The following year, the participants signed a contract for the bout.[2]

On December 6th, 2020, boxer Floyd Mayweather posted a promotional video clip for the fight with Logan Paul. The post received more than 7 million views and 1 million reactions in less than 24 hours (shown below).



Fight

On June 6th, 2021, the boxing fight between Mayweather and Paul took place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.[9] The match lasted for full eight 3-minute rounds, with no official winner declared.

Mayweather landed 43 out of 107 punch attempts while Paul landed 28 out of 217.

In the United States, the match was televised on Showtime PPV.

Others posted joke and memes about the fight. Twitter user @bitchim999 shared a video of a man getting punched in the face numerous times. The post received more than 6,600 likes and 1,000 retweets in less than 24 hours (shown below).
