Jacksepticeye Unfollowed Markiplier refers to reports, posts and memes claiming that YouTuber Jacksepticeye unfollowed YouTuber and friend Markiplier on social media, along with the account for their joint clothing brand, Cloak, in May 2024. Notably, Markiplier did not unfollow Jacksepticeye. Late that month, social media users began making posts announcing the unfollow and speculating on it, while also posting memes about the situation, many of which people ironically overreact to the news.

The earliest notable post about the unfollow was posted by X^[1] user @stevlmao that morning, writing, "babe wake up jacksepticeye unfollowed markiplier," garnering over 90,000 likes and 9,700 reposts in a day (shown below).

Jacksepticeye and Markiplier are both YouTubers who have worked together numerous times in the past and are often seen as friends, even running a joint clothing brand together called Cloak.

Jacksepticeye appeared to unfollow Markiplier, along with the Cloak social media pages, on both Instagram and X. Markiplier, however, still followed Jacksepticeye as of May 29th, 2024 (shown below).
