Also on September 19th, Politico's Natalie Allison^[7] reported that Mark Robinson's email address was also found on the adult matchmaking site Ashley Madison. A post about the story on Reddit's /r/politics^[8] subreddit by Redditor /u/mgwccnv gathered over 3,000 upvotes in a day.

In addition to the inflammatory statements unearthed by CNN, various internet users also attempted to find ways to link Mark Robinson to the username @minisolder elsewhere online. For example, on September 19th, 2024, X^[5] user @kabaivanoff1 quoted a 2018 reply to Mark Robinson's current X (Twitter) account, showing that his old username on Twitter was @minisolder.

On September 19th, 2024, Mark Robinson denied that he was responsible for the posts made by @minisoldr and that the comments linked to him were generated by "AI" and that he was being "framed." X^[4] user @MikeNellis reposted the news clip, gathering over 2,000 likes in a day.
