Overview
The ValidLs Lawsuit was a defamation lawsuit by trans, furry Twitter user BlueFolf against the Twitter account ValidLs, who BlueFolf alleges spread doctored screenshots accusing BlueFolf of being a child predator, allegedly resulting in BlueFolf getting suspended from work, being disowned by her dad and being harassed online. ValidLs has a history of transphobic tweets and has targetted trans people before, including Brianna Ghey, a trans teen who was murdered in early 2023. A GoFundMe was created to raise funds for the lawsuit on May 10th, 2023 and acquired over $6,800 in donations in two days. On May 16th, BlueFolf decided not to pursue legal action against ValidLs and claimed she would be refunding everyone who donated to the GoFundMe page.
Background
Twitter user @BlueFolf, a trangender woman and furry, has been critical of Twitter user @ValidLs, a gimmick account that posts examples of what they describe as "L's from the 'valid' and 'brave & proud' community." The account gained notoriety throughout early 2023 for its tendencies to criticize transgender people. For example, on February 13th, 2023, BlueFolf tweeted[1] at Elon Musk asking him to ban ValidLs. On February 14th, BlueFolf posted screenshot of a tweet by ValidLs where they posted[2] a photoshopped gravestone of recently murdered trans teen Brianna Ghey with an assumed deadname on it, writing, "A child was murdered and ValidLs thinks it’s funny because they happened to be trans," garnering over 3,300 likes in three months (shown below).
On February 15th, BlueFolf shared on Twitter[3][5] that Kiwi Farms doxxed her, providing proof, although it is unknown if ValidLs had anything to do with this. On April 23rd, Twitter[4] user @floofyfluffer posted a screenshot from ValidLs's Telegram chatroom where the users are seen planning to "target" BlueFolf, garnering over 2,800 likes in a month (shown below,). In response, BlueFolf tweeted, "Locking my account temporarily ❤️."
On April 24th, Twitter[6] user @ValidLs posted an allegedly Photoshopped Discord screenshot where it appears as if BlueFolf is willing to roleplay with a 15-year-old, garnering over 4,200 likes in a month (shown below).
Later that day, ValidLs shared a screenshot on Twitter[7] of a now-deleted tweet by BlueFolf posted on an unspecified date claiming that her dad financially cut her off for attending a furry convention, also sharing a video of an alleged conversation between BlueFolf and her dad about this, garnering over 2,600 likes in a month (shown below).

Later that day, BlueFolf used her Twitter[8] account to deny the accusations, saying "ValidLs is trying to 'expose' me by spamming a fake screenshot everywhere and painting me as being a pedo," garnering over 10,000 likes in a month (shown below, left). Later that day, ValidLs's Twitter[9] account posted a screenshot of a now-deleted tweet from BlueFolf posted on an unspecified date reading, "Ended up getting suspended from work" (shown below, right).
Later that day, BlueFolf posted a video under the Twitter[10] post providing evidence that she never messaged the user shown in the screenshot (shown below).
