Girl With Trout Video, also known as the Tassie Trout Lady, Using A Trout For Clout or 1 Girl 1 Trout, is an explicit viral video and piece of shock media involving a woman on a fishing boat with a trout inside her vagina. The video was purportedly filmed by an Australian couple in Tasmania and first surfaced in January 2023. It was also purportedly accompanied by a video showing the couple having sex in a cemetery on top of the grave of deceased artist David Hammond Chapman. It later spread to Reddit's /r/Unexpected in January 2023, then to Twitter and elsewhere online. Tasmanian police investigated the video as it spread, likening it to bestiality and animal abuse. Additionally, the Facebook page of Kingston Animal Hospital in Tasmania released a statement on the video, claiming that the Tassie Trout Lady was an ex-employee at the veterinarian clinic.

On January 24th, 2023, Twitter^[1] user No2ofTheBLB tweeted a trimmed video of a woman on a boat with a camo baseball cap being filmed by a man who moved the camera down to her naked, private area to reveal a trout that'd been put inside her vagina. The video received roughly 180,200 views in one day (screenshot shown below).

Later on January 24th, 2023, the video was shared to Reddit on the /r/Unexpected^[2] sub by a since-deleted Redditor who titled the video, "Using a Trout for clout." The post was removed by the subreddit's moderators shortly after, who stated:

This is animal abuse, which is against rule 13 of this sub.
It is also an illegal act in most countries, and viewing it is an illegal act in many.
Do not post this crap in the sub.

On January 25th, 2023, the Australian news outlet Mercury published an article^[3] titled, "Couple film themselves having sex on grave in Cressy," which covered "disgraceful footage" of a "man and woman having sex on a grave in Tasmania." The grave in question was that of deceased Tasmanian artist David Hammond Chapman at St Mark’s Anglican Cemetery, Pisa, at Cressy. According to Mercury, Tasmanian police were investigating the video after it was submitted to Mercury. A spokesperson for the police department stated, "No formal report has been made to Tasmania Police regarding the video, and it is unknown if the matter occurred in Tasmania.”

A couple have filmed themselves having sex on a grave in Tasmania.

Later on January 25th, Australian news outlet News.com.au also published an article^[4] about the explicit video reportedly from Tasmania. However, News.com.au additionally mentioned a secondary video that showed the couple "using a live trout to play out a sexual act on a boat."

Also on January 25th, 2023, the video was discussed by anons in 4chan's /pol/ ^[5] board (shown below). One anon wrote, "Apparently she owns 2 Vets in Hobart. Imagine ruining your own life by having a video out there of being fucked by a fish." This statement is unconfirmed.

Kingston Animal Hospital and Dr. Chris Lee's Facebook Post

On January 26th, 2023, the Facebook^[6] page of Kingston Animal Hospital in Kingston, Tasmania uploaded a post sent by Dr. Chris Lee (the sole proprietor of Kingston Animal Hospital). In the post, Lee stated that the woman in the trout video was an ex-employee of the hospital who hadn't worked there in roughly five years. He further stated, "This story and video are completely unrelated to all current staff… I would like to apologize for the distress this matter may have caused to all of you." In one day, the post received over 520 reactions (shown below) and was also covered by the news outlet Mercury^[7] on January 26th.
