GIVE ME YOUR FACE! is an one liner that Optimus Prime says in the second live-action Transformers movie, as he tears The Fallen's face off just before killing him (as seen in the video below). It was a some what dark phrase that many fans found this slightly out of character. Some fans found humor in this and soon became a running joke within the Transformers fandom.

Origin

The phrase is said during the final battle in the live action movie, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (the sequel to the first live action movie), which was directed by Michael Bay. In the movie, Optimus Prime is portrayed as somewhat aggressive (as shown in the video above). Because of this, movie Optimus Prime is sometimes parodied as bloodthirsty (usually wanting your face), and is then accompanied with the phrase, "Give me your face".

Spread

"Give me your face!" became a very popular inside joke in the Transformers community. The TFwiki entry of movie Optimus Prime (link) even pokes fun of the phrase several times. Although the joke is mostly limited to Transformers fans, there are still a few parodies.
