Google Boob Shirt Guy, also known as the Guy Wearing a Boob Shirt at Google, refers to a viral video of a man at a Google presentation (held by co-founder Sergey Brin) wearing a 3D-printed shirt with bare breasts on it, asking a question about Google Gemini's "woke" AI prompt injection. The blonde man is seen with a Subway sandwich, leaning back in his chair. The video went viral on Twitter / X in March 2024, gaining viral reactions and memes that used the man's unprofessional attire to humorously criticize the state of Google's company, specifically its AI division.
Origin
On March 2nd, 2024, X[1] user @yfilipch tweeted a video taken during a presentation held by Google co-founder Sergey Brin. A man is seen in the video asking a question about Google Gemini's 'Diversity' Prompt Injection controversy. The man is blonde and wearing a 3D-printed long-sleeve shirt with a graphic of bare breasts on it. The tweet received over 1 million views and 1,600 likes in two days (censored screenshot shown below).

After the video's upload, users on X reacted to the man's attire, such as X[2] user @VCBrags on March 2nd, 2024, who asked, "Tf is bro wearing," gaining over 850 likes in two days (shown below, left).
Also on March 2nd, 2024, X[3] user @0interestrates quoted the video, writing, "san francisco is not a real place," earning over 2,400 likes in a day (shown below, right).
On March 3rd, 2024, X[4] user @nikitabier compared the guy wearing the boob shirt to actress Sydney Sweeney, using a still from her then-recent appearance on Saturday Night Live (SNL), captioning it, "What you think a career in tech will get you vs. what you actually get," gaining over 2,900 likes in a day (shown below, left).
A few minutes later on March 3rd, 2024, X[5] user @buccocapital posted a meme following the same format, captioned, "Adjusted EBITDA / Net Income," receiving over 6,100 likes in a day (shown below, right).
On March 4th, 2024, X[6] user @TrungTPhan highlighted that Google’s market cap went down $50B since the "boob shirt" guy video. @TrungTPhan humorously speculated that it was the cause. The tweet received over 180 likes in a few hours (shown below).
