Google, Show Me This Guy's Balls is a quote from The Eric Andre Show that has been used in various contexts in the years since it aired, including YouTube animations, image macro captions and TikTok sounds.

Origin

Season 3, Episode 2 of The Eric Andre Show aired on Cartoon Network on November 13th, 2014.[1] In the episode, Eric Andre performs a sketch where he acts as a "Google Robot." At one point, he walks up to a man on the street and says "Google, show me this guy's balls." The sketch was uploaded to YouTube by Adult Swim on November 20th, 2014, gaining over 850,000 views in nine years (shown below).


Spread

The clip started seeing use in memedom starting in the early 2020s, initially in the template "That looks like the battle pass." On February 26th, 2021, user @TikToker Macpeepeepoopoo, now @itsmacdoogle, posted a "battle pass" video with a reaction adding a scene where Mac sits at a computer and says, "Google, show me this guy's balls" (shown below). The video gained over 3.2 million views in just under two months (shown below).

From there, the meme began spreading in various contexts online. On March 11th, 2021, the phrase was added to Urban Dictionary. [2] Also on that day, iFunny[3] user bruh_momentum uploaded a Clearly… parody with the phrase (shown below).

The phrase also inspired animations on YouTube. On April 15th, 2021, YouTuber Flowerboblo uploaded an edit with the phrase, gaining over 478,000 views in nearly three years (shown below, left). On March 8th, 2023, YouTuber shitpostine posted an Iron Man edit with the phrase that gained over 5,700 views in nine months (shown below, right).


On TikTok, the original audio was uploaded by user paul.gerard, whose account is private. However, the sound has been used over 1,600 times on the site as of December 14th, 2023.[4]
