About

We'll Be Right Back is a remix series utilizing the "We'll Be Right Back" graphic from The Eric Andre Show and the song "Oregon Spirit" by Rolf Kruger. Similar to To Be Continued, the graphic and song are usually used at the climax of the video for comedic and suspenseful effects, similar to its use on the show.

Origin

The Eric Andre Show premiered on May 20th, 2012. In the show, segments will often end abruptly with a music cue and freeze frame as the words "We'll Be Right Back" appears on screen (song shown below).



Spread

Edits using the moment began to appear on YouTube in mid-2015. One of the earliest known remixes appeared on April 28th, 2015, posted by Katherine Harrison, and used a video of a cat (shown below, left). On June 16th, 2016, YouTuber DevDude uploaded a remix which gained over 15,000 views.



Some of the most popular remixes uploaded to YouTube include an edit by Cagenado from March 30th, 2017 that gained over 106,000 views (shown below, left). Another by ImAidan posted August 19th, 2017, gained over 56,000 views (shown below, right).



Additionally, there are multiple compilations of the remixes posted to YouTube. On November 15th, 2017, a remix uploaded by Niks gained over 230,000 views (shown below, left). Another posted by Brosius on October 30th, 2017 gained over 56,000 views (shown below, right).
