About

Hello There Timmy refers to a series of memes featuring a young boy recognizing character G-Man as the leader of Skibidi Toilets from the Skibidi Toilet video series instead of as a Half-Life character. The format was spawned by a viral meme in which G-Man banishes the boy to an impossible battle against a horde of alien grunts and has since been altered to feature different scenarios and characters.

Origin

On January 18th, 2024, X[1] user @hlbs4life (authorship unconfirmed) posted a four-panel meme which imagined a young boy named Timmy recognizing character G-Man as one of Skibidi Toilets in the animation series rather than a Half-Life character. In the meme, G-Man proceeds to stare down Timmy and banish him to the realm of Xen to fight a horde of alien grunts, a reference to the alternative Half-Life ending. The post (shown below) gained over 3,100 reposts and 30,000 likes in two days.
