On May 2nd, 2024, content creator and comedian Dan Hentschel uploaded a parody video[1] titled "I Accidentally 'Came' During a Job Interview" in which he details for 10 minutes how and why he prematurely ejaculated in his pants. The video (seen below) amassed over 937,000 views and 38,000 views in a year.
Spread
A few days after the original video was posted on YouTube, ironic recaptions of the title started to appear on Instagram and X. For example, on May 21st, 2024, Instagram[2] user @darkhumorhub posted a version of the thumbnail rephrasing the title with "I accidentally said 'N-word' in a job interview." The post (seen below) amassed more than 1,600 likes in a year.

On March 23rd, 2025, X[3] page @ShitpostRock posted a version of Dan Hentschel's meme, replacing "came" for the "It insists upon itself" Family Guy meme. The post (seen below) garnered over 99,000 likes and 2,500 reposts in a day.
