About
I Can Hear Just Fine, Speak is a quote from a scene in Love On the Spectrum season three in which Connor gets frustrated at his mother after she tells him that she set him up on a date with a blonde woman, Kate, despite Connor being opposed to dating blondes. The scene comes from the first episode of the season and went viral on social media in April 2025, the month the season premiered. Most notably, the audio from the scene became a popular lip dub sound on TikTok, used in skits about getting frustrated with someone.
Origin
On April 2nd, 2025, the third season of Love On The Spectrum U.S., a dating show that follows autistic singles as they try to find love, premiered on Netflix. In the first episode, the mother of one of the singles, Connor, explains to him that she set him up on a date with a girl named Kate who is a fan of the show. She explains that Kate is blonde. Connor gets frustrated with his mom because his mom didn't tell him about the date earlier and because she's blonde. At one point he says, "I can hear just fine, speak." His mother responds, "I feel like you're upset with me." He answers, "I am very upset with you."
