About

"I Don't Like You at All, Big Brother!!" Ending Parodies, better known as "Ochinko ED Parodies" (Japanese: おちんこEDパロ) in Japan, refers to a series of parody videos of reproducing the ending movie for a Japanese TV anime series I Don't Like You at All, Big Brother! (お兄ちゃんのことなんかぜんぜん好きじゃないんだからねっ!!, Oniichan no Koto Nanka Zenzen Suki Janain Dakara ne!!)[1], usually shortened into "Ochinko" (おちんこ) among Japanese fans, which is the same pronunciation of "Penis" in Japanese.

Origin

The anime series was aired between January and March in 2011 and its ending theme song "Ari Ari Mirai" was sung by Japanese voice actors Erika Kitamura, Marina Inoue and Kazusa Aranami. However, it had totally fallen behind Puella Magi Madoka Magica the huge succeeded TV anime aired in the same season. Instead, it caught an attention among anime Otakus due to its out-of-date character design, characters' too long neck, and the ending movie in which almost all scenes were made only by scrolling stock images (shown below, left).

This quite cheap and strange ending movie soon became to a topic on the Japanese web, and people began to post many parody videos to the Japanese video sharing service Nico Nico Douga (NND) after this Pokemon version was uploaded around the middle of February 2011 (Shown below, right).

Editor's note: this ending movie isn't the original, but an extended version made by a NND user.

Spread

Many NND users had joined onto the bandwagon of this parody video fad because it was too easy for them to mimic the ending movie by MAD video style, NND users' favorite video editing manner. In addition, a template video[2] prepared in quite early days of this fad spurred the increasing of those videos. As of September 2013, there are more than 630 parody videos for Ochinko ending movie on NND[3], and about 330 of them had been created in its first 3 months. All videos in this series is given name by the phrasal template "I Don't Like You at All, (X)!!" (◯◯のことなんかぜんぜん好きじゃないんだからねっ!!).

However, this parody video fad hasn't spread to the outside of Japan since King Record, the copyright holder for this song, has been blocking to publish videos reusing this song on YouTube.[4]
