I Just Hit the Jackpot refers to lyrics from the song "HIT THE JACKPOT! (Hakari Dance)" by rapper GameboyJones, a hip-hop track inspired by the anime series Jujutsu Kaisen (JJK) and the character Kahari specifically. A video featuring the song was uploaded to GameboyJones's TikTok page in late February 2026 and became the subject of memes in mid-March, including edits and image macro style memes where the lyrics "I just hit the jackpot" are used alongside captions about "hitting the jackpot." The song is a remimx of the "Hakari Dance" phonk song.

Origin

On February 23rd, 2026, TikToker^[1] and musician @GameboyJones posted a video edit of the anime series Jujutsu Kaisen set to an original song featuring the lyrics, "Hold up, wait, I just hit the jackpot." The video gained over 1.4 million views in a month.

On February 28th, the same TikToker^[2] posted a video in which he raps over the same edit, labeled "POV Hakari hit the jackpot." The video gained over 1.5 million views in two weeks.

Memes using the song started to go viral in March 2026. One early example was posted on March 10th, 2026, by TikToker^[3] @icarusthegk, gaining over 825,000 views in six days. In the video, Hakari's face has been edited over a viral Pop the Balloon dance video featuring the caption, "Hakari, dance if no one in the fandom can make a good song for you."

Memes using the I Just Hit the Jackpot song, some of which also reference the song, went viral in mid-March 2026, particularly on TikTok and Instagram Reels.

On March 12th, 2026, TikToker^[4] @mars_orpheusglazer posted a version of the meme captioned, "Mfs who genuinely don't even go to class when the teacher is absent," garnering over 270,000 views in four days.
