Overview
Content Cop – H3 is a YouTube video by iDubbbz and the first episode in his Content Cop series since 2017's video on RiceGum. The video was posted in response to Ethan Klein, aka h3h3productions, criticizing iDubbbz and his wife Anisa for not standing up for him when CPS was called to his house, purportedly by a group of Klein's online harassers, based on a rumor that was spread by people including streamer Denims and Froggy Tonic (a former video editor for iDubbbz). In the video, iDubbbz criticizes Klein's call for him to speak out on his behalf as "transactional," also criticizing Klein's general opinions in relation to the Israel-Palestine crisis. iDubbbz also criticizes Klein's opinion that a live "Sabra tier list" event hosted at TwitchCon by streamers including Denims and Frogan was antisemitic and his general criticism of Hasan Piker for, in Ethan's opinion, leading his viewers down an extremist, antisemitic pipeline by supporting recognized terrorist groups like the Houthis and Hamas under the guise of showing unwavering support for Palestine. The video garnered mixed responses online when it dropped, with some criticizing iDubbbz for betraying Klein by supporting the people who propped up the story that got CPS called on him. Notably, Klein and iDubbbz used to be close friends and collaborators in the mid-to-late 2010s. The Kleins responded to the video on their podcast, specifically pointing out how much context iDubbbz left out of the video, including his refusal to mention the CPS call. He also revealed that around the time of the call, two human skulls were sent to his home, sharing images of them on his Instagram story and in a video on the h3h3productions YouTube channel.
Background
Relationship Between Ethan Klein and iDubbbz
Since as early as 2016, Ethan Klein and iDubbbz have been friends and collaborators, creating some of their most popular videos together. For example, on December 9th, 2016, iDubbbz was heavily featured in the h3h3productions YouTube[1] video "THESE GLASSES CURED OUR COLOR BLINDNESS!" which garnered over 22 million views and 1.8 million likes in nine years. These collaborations lead to a noticeable audience crossover between the creators.
The two went on to collaborate numerous times in the next nine years, with iDubbbz appearing on the H3 Podcast, hosted by Klein, in 2022 to talk about the backlash his wife Anisa got for starting an OnlyFans account. Klein defended the two.[2]
AB, a member of the H3 Podcast crew, participated in two of iDubbbz's Creator Clash events and Lena, another crew member and AB's wife, is set to fight in 2025's Creator Clash 3.
In 2023, iDubbbz apologized for his past "hurtful" content, including the Content Cop series, making all videos in the series private. This proved a controversial move for iDubbbz, who observably lost a large portion of his viewership after the apology.
Ethan Klein CPS Incident / Froggy Tonic Comment / Calling Out iDubbbz and Anisa Jomha
On February 17th, 2025, episode 111 of the H3 Podcast went live on YouTube.[3] Around the 19:40 mark, Klein talks about how his newly adopted dog Olive came to them with Giardia. Klein says that his youngest son Sunny and his wife Hila have contracted Giardia as well, explaining that Sunny is at the age where he will crawl around and put anything in his mouth and he was feeling sick. Giardia can spread on surfaces, meaning you do not have to ingest feces to contract it. Later, Klein claimed that neither Sunny nor Hila contracted Giardia and that he had just speculated that they had Giardia.
On March 4th, X[4] user @froggytonic, a former editor for iDubbbz, made a post both supporting the Giardia rumor and claiming that Klein killed his dog Shredder by feeding him cheese, both of which Klein has refuted.

On March 7th, episode 119 of the H3 Podcast went live on YouTube.[5] During the episode, Klein claims that child protective services were called to their home in relation to the Giardia story. Klein claims that the CPS agent believed the call, which was anonymous, to come from someone they know, but Klein believes they were lying.
Purportedly, the caller told the agent that Sunny, contracted Giardia because they have an unclean house that their dogs defecate in. The CPS agent purportedly complimented the cleanliness of their house, investigated the situation and set a follow-up date to interview his two eldest children, Bruce and Theodore. In the video, Klein calls out leftist streamer Denims, who is often associated with Hasan Piker, for spreading disinformation regarding the giardia.
Around the 17:13 mark, Klein and his wife and co-host Hila call out iDubbbz and his wife Anisa for not defending them regarding both the call to CPS and in regards to the comment by Froggy Tonic. Hila calls out Anisa for not "standing by her girl" and criticizes her for supporting Denims, who propped up the Giardia claim on her stream. Hila tells Anisa to "go fuck" herself, with Ethan calling them "fairweather friends" and "spineless." He further shares his wish that they would at least say Ethan and Hila have a clean house to detract from the rumor.
The details of Denims propping up the Giardia rumor was further discussed by Ethan in a video on the h3h3productions YouTube[6] channel, which shows her sharing the rumor on her stream.
On March 11th, iDubbbz and Anisa discussed the callout during an episode of their Youtube[7] podcast "She Ruined My Career" that garnered over 17,000 views in a month. In the episode, the two claim they don't want to get involved in the drama, don't need Ethan and Hila to defend them and suggest that Ethan needs professional help and to stop feeding the trolls.
Content Cop – H3
On April 12th, 2025, iDubbbz posted a teaser to YouTube[8] for the return of Content Cop, a video series in which iDubbbz criticizes problematic online figures who he believes need called out, with previous examples including Tana Mongeau, LeafyIsHere and RiceGum. Some people online speculated that the episode would be about Ethan Klein due to Klein calling him out and iDubbbz and Anisa's refusal to defend Klein, while others believed it made no sense because of the relationship between Ethan and iDubbbz.
On April 16th, 2025, iDubbbz posted "Content Cop – H3" to YouTube,[9] his return to the Content Cop series, garnering over 2.6 million views in a day. The video features collaborations from pro-Palestinian streamers and content creators, including Denims, Hasan Piker and Frogan, who Klein has routinely called out for, in his opinion, supporting extremist ideas and terrorist groups like the Houthis and Hamas on their streams under the guise of showing support for Palestine.
In the video, iDubbbz criticizes Klein for his opinions on the Israel-Palestine crisis, claiming he's "crashing out." iDubbbz defends his decision to not defend the Kleins over the CPS incident, claiming he didn't want to get involved and that Klein's desire for his defense based on Klein's defense of he and Anisa makes the relationship seem "transactional." iDubbbz does condemn the tweet by Froggy Tonic, but does not speak out against Denims, who he is seen dancing with in the video's intro.
Additionally, iDubbbz criticizes Klein for his use of a broadcast scrubbing button during his podcast, which allows him to scrub content from the stream while live. He also criticizes Klein's criticism of Hasan Piker, who Ethan believes promotes extremism on his stream. At another moment, iDubbbz calls out Klein's criticism of a panel hosted at TwitchCon by Frogan, Denims and other streamers as being antisemitic, suggesting Klein got the involved streamers banned despite widespread backlash towards the event. He also suggests that Klein runs the H3 Podcast poorly, that the working conditions of the crew are likely not good and doubles-down on the opinion that Ethan needs professional help. He suggests Klein should stick to being funny rather than speaking on important political issues he's "unequipped" to talk about.
Throughout the video, iDubbbz also claims Ethan "looks for" content to upset him and reacts to it, criticizes him for calling out some people while not calling out "celebrities" he's been associated with who have dissenting opinions like Theo Von, criticizes his use of the term "goblin mode" to excuse bad behavior and more.
At the end of the video he has some of Klein's regular targets, including Noah Samsen, Frogan and Denims, say something nice about Klein. He is also seen crying while talking to YouTuber Psychology In Seattle while talking about the hate that couples get online.
Developments
Ethan and Hila Klein's Response
The "Content Cop – H3" video was dropped around 3:00 PM EST on April 16th, 2025, coinciding with the start of the H3 Podcast's live stream on YouTube.[10] Ethan learned about the video during the show and reacted with disbelief, which was followed by a debate over whether they should react live or prepare a reaction. Lena, a crew member who is fighting in iDubbbz's Creator Clash 3, purportedly has a "panic attack" when the video drops, unsure of whether or not she should drop out of the event. iDubbbz texts Lena and AB when he sees this and apologizes for getting them caught in the middle of the situation. They end up watching the first roughly 17 minutes of the video on stream, promising to continue the reaction during their episode on Friday the 18th.
Ethan and Hila both react to the video, criticizing iDubbbz and his points throughout by bringing up some of the videos that iDubbbz uses in his Content Cop to criticize Klein, offering the full context of their reactions, which iDubbbz leaves out of his video. The majority of their complaints focus on iDubbbz's video lacking context and misinterpreting Ethan.
Around the 1:18:00 mark, Klein claims that iDubbbz's documentary on controversial creator Sam Hyde only served to make Hyde more popular, saying that he thinks Sam Hyde "broke" iDubbbz's brain.
On April 18th, Ethan and Hila responded to the full episode of "Content Cop – H3" on an episode of the H3 Podcast on YouTube,[20] garnering over 1.1 million views three days. In the video they go into great detail on the claims made by iDubbbz and point out that, throughout the video, iDubbbz does not explain the full context behind the CPS call, which Ethan sees as disingenuous and irresponsible.
Response on h3h3productions / Receiving Human Skulls in the Mail
On April 20th, Ethan posted a more condensed reaction to the video on the h3h3productions YouTube[21] channel, against highlighting iDubbbz's lack of context. He also reveals that, around the time of the CPS call, he was sent two human skulls in the mail, suggesting the skulls were also sent by his harassers. The video gained over 450,000 views in under 24 hours.
Ethan talked further about the skulls on his Instagram story, sharing uncensored images of them and explaining that when he got the package he thought it was something for Dan relating to the podcast, so the crew opened the package.
