About

If You Hate Roblox, or If You Hate Roblos, refers to a viral video of a child with a thick accent warning potential viewers to leave their page if they don't like Roblox, as all they're going to see on the page is Roblox content. The video's audio clip became the subject of edits in late 2020 and throughout 2021, often used alongside an exploitable video of a Roblox character beating someone up from a POV perspective.

Origin

On August 13th, 2020, the since-deleted TikTok page @anvdrreaa posted a Roblox-themed video in which she says, in a thick accent, "If you hate Roblox and you think it's garbage, and childish, then get off my page, because all you're gonna see here is Roblox. Goodbye." The original sound[1] for the video gained significant attention, inspiring over 6,000 videos, most showing Roblox obstacle course footage over it (most popular examples shown below, left and right). On January 3rd, a video in the same vein was posted to /r/GoCommitDie,[8] garnering over 11,000 upvotes in six months.

On January 30th, 2021, TikToker[3] @_raeeraee posted a POV video set to an original version of the sound in which a Roblox character beats the camera up while saying the lines, garnering over 1.3 million views in six months. On February 1st, YouTuber[4] Nobody, an account owned by @_raeeraee, posted an extended version of the video, garnering over 2.1 million views in five months (shown below).

Over the next five months, a number of YouTubers used the audio in edits. For example, on February 27th, YouTuber[5] Blu posted a video like this starting with Minecraft footage, and on April 25th, YouTuber[6] 40PM posted one with Roblox footage showing a man getting attacked, garnering over 1.5 million and 600,000 views respectively by July (shown below, left and right).
