About

Indiana Lingo refers to a viral TikTok video shared by users @chickensyrup and @hiimgeo, in which they break down slang terms supposedly from the state of Indiana. They start by saying that in Indiana, they don't say "lying" or "capping," they instead say, "creaming." They follow with the Indiana term for "mad" or "upset," which is "spicy," and the last term is "dih" for "bro" or "homie." They also called Indiana "The I" in the video. The satirical video skit was meant to portray Indiana slang as humorously homoerotic. The original video was posted in late August 2025, and in the following weeks, it was referenced and recreated by other creators, who used the Indiana Lingo terms "creaming," "spicy" and "dih" in comedic situations or added to the list.
