IShowSpeed's 3rd Grade Photo, also known as IShowSpeed Third Grade Yearbook Picture, refers to a third-grade yearbook photograph of streamer and YouTuber IShowSpeed, showing a young Darren Watkins Jr. (Speed's real name), wearing glasses and a green Minecraft hoodie taken of him in elementary school. The image was leaked in early March 2025 by an unknown Discord user during Speed's livestream, spawning edits, photoshops and image macros added to his third-grade photo.

Origin

On March 1st, 2025, X^[1] / Twitter user @IShowSpeedHQ posted a clip of streamer IShowSpeed reacting to his third-grade school picture being leaked in his Discord channel (seen below). In the video, Speed claims someone from his family leaked the photo. The post amassed more than 55,000 views and 930 likes in six days.

Speed's third-grade photo quickly went viral among his fans, who used the image in Photoshop edits, memes and as an exploitable image in early March 2025.

For instance, on March 2nd, 2025, X^[2] user @ayeejuju posted the photo, captioning it, "no way someone found ishowspeed’s 3rd grade picture 😭," which received roughly 23 million views and 502,000 likes in five days (seen below).

On the same day, X^[3] user @Mozzytakes posted Speed's photo and LeBron James' yearbook pictures side-by-side, writing, "This is crazy." The tweet (seen below) amassed more than 913,000 views and 30,000 likes in five days.
