About

J. Cole's "Grippy" Verse refers to memes and jokes about rapper J. Cole's verse on the Cash Cobain song "Grippy" in which he says, "Now she in my phone with a nickname, it's… it's… uh… grippy." The term "grippy" is a variation of the slang phrase "gorilla grip," typically used to refer to a woman's privates. The line inspired memes and jokes in late May 2024, with many internet users deeming it corny and dorky.
