Origin
On January 27th 2014 the original image was posted to r/funny by Reddit user Ballparkfrank21 [1]. This post gained 2,940 points (95% upvoted) before being archived.
Spread
On the same day the original post was made on Reddit, the Tumblr blog of Tastefully Offensive Posted the image. Within four years the post gained over 860,000 notes. [2] The photo was also posted to r/photoshopbattles on the same day, gaining 2,640 points (91% upvoted) before being archived. [3]
On November 22nd 2017, the photo was posted again to r/photoshopbattles. Within 20 hours the original post gained over 37,900 points (88% upvoted) [4]
