Kek or Cringe refers to a series of ironic memes in which various fictional characters host a show called "Kek or Cringe" where they rate memes as "kek" or "cringe". The format originated on iFunny in March 2019 and was later spread by ironic meme pages on Twitter, Instagram and Reddit.

On March 18th, 2019, iFunny user Mobian posted a multi-panel meme in which No Country for Old Man character Anton Chigurh reviewed two memes and decided the fate of those who submitted them based deeming their images "kek" or "cringe".[1] The post gained over 3,900 likes in two months.
