Bro's Got X-Ray Vision for Grippers refers to a clip of a goth girl named Raven Alternative loudly responding to a livestream comment that complimented her "nice feet" when her feet were covered by a long black dress. She exclaimed, "Bro's got X-ray vision for grippers!" The video went viral on TikTok in mid-2025, leading to viral edits and memes that mocked Raven Alternative's clip, mostly due to a perception that it was cringe. The video was later integrated into the Adrian Eeffoc Brainrot genre of brainrot and lobotomy videos, which combined exploitable video elements into absurd edits, largely focusing on the Adrian, Explain Our Friend Group and Coffee Spelled Backwards is Eeffoc memes.

Origin

Sometime in March 2025, Twitch streamer Raven Alternative posted a clip on her alternative TikTok^[1] account, @ravenalternativeclips, and as a Reel on her main Instagram account of her on a livestream, saying, "'Oh, you have nice feet.' How the fuck can you see them? Bro's got X-ray vision for grippers."

The TikTok and Instagram videos have since been deleted,^[2] but as of writing, the clip is still viewable on her Facebook, ^[3] where it gained over 343,000 views and 6,700 likes in roughly two months (reupload shown below).

An exact upload date is unclear, as Facebook does not provide upload date timestamps on Reels. Twitch clips also do not have exact timestamps. However, the Twitch^[6] clip, called "gripper vision," which was shared to Raven Alternative's Twitch account, was posted sometime in March 2025, in line with the first TikTok^[5] video to use the clip's audio, which was shared on March 28th.

The video that used the audio was posted by TikToker^[5] @kawaii.crushes on March 28th, showing her lip dubbing the sound, receiving over 520 likes in four months (shown below).

On April 24th, 2025, iFunny^[8] user sadboys uploaded the clip to the site with the caption, "Should I follow her," receiving over 80 smiles and 50 comments in four months. Many of the users in the comments mocked the clip and called it cringe.

On May 21st, 2025, TikToker^[7] @jesusiscoolasfrick posted a video, using the original clip, and adding a slew of parody acronym slang terms over the video, gaining over 27,000 likes in two months (shown below).

On June 22nd, TikToker^[4] @v1t4m1nn posted an edit of the original video, in which Raven Alternative is crudely rotoscoped, using Viggle AI, over an Incredible Gassy GIF, gaining over 22,400 likes in a month (shown below).

On July 22nd, 2025, Raven Alternative posted a clip to TikTok^[2] of her talking about the Bro's Got X-Ray Vision for Grippers video. She stated that she removed the original video because she was receiving death threats for it. Her post gained over 212,700 likes in two days (shown below).
