The earliest known piece of fan art combining Kobenmi and Pomni was posted on February 11th, 2023 by Twitter user @2kellevision,^[1] gaining over 60 retweets and 260 likes in eight months (shown below).

Spread

There was a significant uptick in fan artwork following the premiere of The Amazing Digital Circus on October 13th, 2023. On October 15th, 2023, Twitter user @JazzAllNighty5 posted a reading of a Digital Circus webcomic, comparing the character to Kobeni in a scene from Chainsaw Man. The clip gained over 2,400 retweets and 12,000 likes in five days (shown below, top). On October 19th, YouTuber and animator it's Toma posted a video of Pomni screaming like Kobeni, gaining over 500 views in one day (shown below, bottom)

Fan artwork generally depicted both Pomni and Kobeni together or Kobeni in Pomni's clothes. For example, on October 18th, Twitter user @sebasdono1^[2] posted art of Kobeni in Pomni's outfit, gaining over 180 retweets and 730 likes in two days (shown below, left). On October 19th, user @Chammy_Space^[3] posted art of the two characters together, gaining over 90 retweets and 520 likes in one day (shown below, right).
