Bee Shrek Test in the House is a parody fandom from an hypothetical crossover of Shrek, Barry Bee Benson from the CGI film Bee Movie, Johnny Test and Cory Baxter from the show Cory in the House. It is designed to parody already-existing and larger Tumblr-associated fandoms such as Superwholock.

Origin

Bee Shrek Test in the House was created as a counter to the Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons fandom, a crossover of Brave, Tangled, How To Train Your Dragon, and Rise of the Guardians, which gained huge amounts of popularity on tumblr in late 2012. A percursor of the fandom can be found on December 29th, 2012, when youtuber Byakuya Togami uploaded a video titled "GREEN AND YELLOW – a love story, shrek x barry", featuring a fanfiction pairing Shrek and Barry. On March 31st 2013, an Tumblr blog called "Bee Shrek Test in the House" was created,^[5] reblogging a post from user vanvonsch featuring a Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons styled image with Shrek, Cory, Barry and Johnny.^[6] The post got over 26,000 notes on two years.

The original post inspired the creation of a wiki on June 8th, 2013,^[3] and a TV Tropes page on July 1st, 2013.^[4] On October 1th, 2013 youtuber Phantom's Dump For Stupid Crap uploaded a video titled "Bee Shrek Test in the House Season 69 Opening", featuring an edited version of One Piece's first opening with humorous subtitles.

Bee Shrek Test in the House also inspired a series of images that combine various characters from different series as a crossover.
