Woodrow White's 'King Of The Hill' x Junji Ito Crossovers is a series of illustrations by artist Woodrow White imagining characters from the animated television series King of the Hill in the works of the horror manga author Junji Ito. After several of his works were popularized on social media in 2022, White also began receiving media coverage.

Origin

On April 16th, 2022, artist Woodrow White[1] tweeted a joke imagining a King of the Hill x Junji Ito crossover (shown below, left). On June 10th,[2] he posted a DALL-e mini creation of "Hank Hill Junji Ito" (shown below, right).

Later on June 10th,[3] he posted his first original piece crossing Junji Ito and King of the Hill, gaining over 40 retweets and 460 likes in two weeks (shown below).

On June 14th, 2022, White posted[4] an expansion of his previous June 10th post, referencing Uzumaki. The post gained over 7,900 retweets and 48,000 likes in 10 days (shown below, left). Over the following week, he posted several more variations. One of his most popular works to date, posted on June 15th,[5] crosses King of the Hill with the Ito story The Enigma Of Amigara Fault, gaining over 12,000 retweets and 60,000 likes in one week (shown below, right).
