La Fairs is a forced ironic meme combining the August 2026 La Peace meme and the June 2026 Fairs slang meme.

The meme was started by streamer Braeden at the end of August 2026 after he claimed that memes can be forced during a stream. An edit of the clip went viral on TikTok and Instagram Reels in September 2026, inspiring further memes.

As a meme, the format combines aspects of both of the memes that it references, which includes depictions of Braeden as an ancient Greek philosopher and the use of the OK symbol.

Origin

On August 29th, 2026, Twitch^[1] streamer Braeden claimed to his chat that you can force a meme. His chat asked him to make a new meme, and he did so on the spot, combining aspects of the "La Peace" meme and the "Fairs" meme to make a meme known as "La Fairs." Braeden continued to try to force the meme in his following streams.

On September 1st, TikToker^[2] @kn.gtb posted an edit of the clip that further references both memes, garnering over 2 million views in a week.

The La Fairs meme spread over the course of September 2026 as it spread to other social media platforms.

On September 2nd, 2026, Instagram^[3] user and streamer nicknayersina posted a video where he recreates the meme, garnering over 2,100 likes in a week.

On September 5th, TikToker^[4] @bigyellowbird3892773 posted a video where he ironically hypes the meme up and recreates it, garnering over 613,000 views in four days.

On September 8th, 2026, TikToker^[5] @records458 posted an AI-generated video where "Lou Fairs" meets a personification of the La Peace meme, depicted as Kai Cenat dressed as a philosopher, garnering over 265,000 views in a day.
