Lady Gaga "AAAA" Tweet refers to a famous key-mashing tweet by American recording artist Lady Gaga. Since 2018, the tweet has been used as an image macro and reaction image to express the feeling of speechlessness. In April 2023, the tweet regained virality with quote tweets, first among K-pop fans and later as a speech-bubbling meme format.
Origin
On November 6th, 2012, Lady Gaga made a tweet that started with a stretched-out interjection of a scream and ended with key mashing.[1] The tweet (shown below) received more than 180,000 retweets and 188,000 likes as of September 2018, and over 287,000 retweets, 209,000 quote tweets and 618,000 likes as of April 2023.

Six years later, on September 7th, 2018, Twitter[2] user @discobolec retweeted the post and added the caption (shown below, left), "ja czytając reakcje krytyków na a star is born" (translation: "I am reading the reactions of critics on A Star Is Born.")
That day, Twitter[3] user @kyle4prezident retweeted the tweet and added, "me 1 minute and 46 seconds into the A STAR IS BORN trailer." The tweet (shown below, center) received more than 50 retweets and 340 likes in 10 days.
Additionally that day, Twitter[4] user @reysgirlfriend tweeted, "bradley cooper: all you gotta do is trust me, that's all you gotta do :) gaga, leaning into the mic:" The tweet (shown below, right) received more than 5,200 retweets and 25,000 likes in 10 days.
On September 16th, Twitter[5] user @majtague retweeted the post and captioned it, "Me: what’s the wifi password My mom." The tweet (shown below) received more than 3,100 retweets and 24,000 likes in 24 hours.
The following day, Mashable [6] posted a listicle of examples of the meme.
2023 Resurgence
In mid-April 2023, the tweet regained online popularity, first among K-pop fans who quote tweeted it as a reaction. For example, on April 14th, 2023, Twitter[7] user @sexilarity quote tweeted Lady Gaga's tweet with a photograph of Kim Seok-jin from BTS. The tweet (shown below, left) gained over 1,400 retweets and 11,900 likes in nine days. Later that day, Twitter[8] user @itsmirohh tweeted two photographs of the idol Felix from the band Stray Kids, with the quote tweet gaining over 1,300 retweets and 8,500 likes in the same period (shown below, right).
In the following days, multiple quote tweets of Lady Gaga's tweet by the K-pop community on Twitter went viral. This prompted the tweet to be used as source material for speech-bubbling memes. For example, on April 15th, Twitter[9] user @Ponzuwu quote tweeted it with an image of the Looney Tunes character Taz, with the tweet gaining over 3,000 retweets and 22,100 likes in nine days (shown below, left). On April 17th, Twitter[10] user @CSMFHT quote tweeted the post with an image of the assassination of Julius Caesar, with the tweet gaining over 3,200 retweets and 30,000 likes in a similar timeframe (shown below, right).
