About

My Glorious King LeBron James, also known as LeBron Glazing, refers to a series of memes that make fun of LeBron James fans who are portrayed as irrationally supportive and protective of James. The unabashed devotion of the fans was related to the slang terms glazing and dickriding. The memes started on TikTok in January 2023 and became more viral in mid-2023 following the LA Lakers' elimination from the 2023 NBA Playoffs. Thereafter, a variant trend started called Saving My Glorious King LeBron James in which the fans were portrayed as saving James from imminent and hyperbolic danger. The memes called James "My Glorious King LeBron James" or "LeKing," among other puns related to his name. Many of the videos also used a slowed + reverb remix of the song "Viva la Vida" by Coldplay as the TikTok sound.

In early 2024, LeBron Glazing memes resurfaced en masse following the You Are My Sunshine meme that went viral on TikTok. It inspired further LeBron Glazing memes like LeBonBon and LeEvil James and the LeBron Glazing Poem, a copypasta also known as Boy Oh Boy, Where Do I Even Begin?
