About

Lena Dunham Saying Hi GIF is a reaction GIF and caption meme from the HBO show Girls that is used to joke about doing something embarrassing. The meme shows Patrick Wilson as the character Joshua (a doctor) turning around and dropping his smile when he sees Lena Dunham as Hannah Horvath giving an awkward, two-handed "Hi." The GIF is sometimes described as the "GIF of humiliation" and is often compared to the Carrie Bradshaw At Big's Door meme.
