Leshawna Ball OC, or simply Leshawna Ball, is an inflation rendering of the character Leshawna from Total Drama Island in which her body appears to be completely circular. The infamy of the character has led to parodies on YouTube and TikTok.

Origin

The original image is a piece of body inflation fetish art that was originally posted to DeviantArt in 2012, according to a deleted post by @OldMemeArchive.^[1] Both the original DeviantArt post and the post on X that discovered it have been deleted. Years after its creation, in early June of 2020, a video featuring the picture with the theme song from Ant Farm playing in the background became popular on TikTok. The hashtag "leshawnaball" garnered more than 1.2 million impressions.^[2]

Shortly after the meme began growing in popularity, X user @jaaddds03 coined the title "Leshawna Ball OC" during an interaction with another user who was curious as to what it was called (seen below).

This meme became most popular on Twitter and TikTok. Many users began creating other parodies of the meme, which included inserting the image into other memes,^[3] pointing out how the character looked similar to other objects,^[4] and creating other "Ball OC" characters from the Total Drama series.^[5] One constant in the parodies is the use of the Ant Farms' theme song.
