About
Lizzo PFP, also known as Lizzo Profile Picture or Lizzo Juice Meme, refers to a reaction image meme derived from the single cover and music video for the song "Juice" by American singer and rapper Lizzo, released in early January 2019. The meme initially spread as screenshots of Lizzo's YouTube channel, which featured repeated use of the promotional image (a portrait of Lizzo with curly red hair) as the profile picture (PFP) or channel icon, background, banner and thumbnail.
The image gained traction in pop-music-oriented online spaces such as Stan Twitter and music-centric subreddits such as /r/popheadcirclejerk, and later gained virality on TikTok, typically used in reference to obsessive behavior and relatable cliches such as the tendency to reuse a good picture across various social media platforms.
Origin
On January 4th, 2019, the music video for Lizzo's hit song "Juice" was uploaded to the official Lizzo YouTube[1] channel. In roughly seven years, the video has amassed over 135 million views, 1.6 million likes and 44,800 comments. Many of the comments notably reference the meme as of May 2026.
Following the release of the video, screenshots of Lizzo's YouTube Channel began circulating on social media. The promotional image for the single, which was pulled from the video, was used as both the channel's profile picture and banner. In combination with YouTube's layout at the time and the fact that the video's thumbnail also made use of that specific portrait shot, the result is multiple identical Lizzos occupying most of the screen.
An upscaled recreation of what Lizzo's YouTube channel may have looked like with YouTube's past layout, created by RedditorMort_Voldelord, was posted to the /r/MemeRestoration[2] subreddit on July 1st, 2024.
On January 5th, 2019, Redditor andamancrake posted the original screenshot to the /r/popheadcirclejerk[3] subreddit, a meme-oriented pop music discussion subreddit created by users of /r/popheads, in large part to discuss the Carly Rae Jepsen. Though it would go on to spearhead the long-lasting Stan meme, the post itself did not receive much traction.
The post consequently spawned an ironic reverence for Lizzo and "Juice," becoming the unofficial mascot[4] and anthem[5] for the subreddit, respectively.
The meme largely stayed contained within the subreddit and Stan Twitter, persisting[6] as an in-joke within the communities for years.[7]
Spread
The Lizzo profile picture meme spread slowly across different platforms in the following years, entering use as a reaction image employed to mock themselves or others for the overuse of a specific picture, selfie or artwork across their various social media accounts.
By 2024, the meme had become a ubiquitous reaction image for this type of behavior. On April 15th, 2024, TikTok[8] user @yamii_yamo_ used the image in reference to hyperfixations. The post received about 701,000 views and 170,100 likes in a bit over two years.

It continued to spread and be memed in 2025, such as a post to the /r/okbuddyretard[13] subreddit on May 9th, 2025, by Redditor MrRoboto12345, who shared it in a post titled "So narcissistic bruh" that garnered over 500 upvotes and 30 comments in a year.
On November 3rd, 2025, X[9] user @6000Hates7000 posted the screenshot, writing, "I just realize my account looks like this." The post received over 11.5 million views and 215,000 likes in about six months.
On November 10th, 2025, X[10} user @mewip posted the image and commented, "why’s it giving this," in reference to an image posted by artist FKA Twigs, which received over 398,800 views and 5,400 likes in about six months.
On January 4th, 2026, TikTok[11] user @lightskinchrisevans talked about the Lizzo "Juice' screenshot as a reaction image, which received over 1 million views and 182,800 likes in about five months.

The same day, X[12] user @PopBase posted about the seventh anniversary of "Juice," using the now iconic still. The post received over 1.7 million views and 66,000 likes in about five months.
Numerous X / Twitter users commented on the post, acknowledging the now classic stan culture meme in the replies over the following days.
!By May 2026, references to the meme and the TikTok platform began to fill the comment section[1] of the original music video.
