Mark Zuckerberg at UFC refers to memes about Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg's appearance in the corner at a UFC fight on Saturday, February 17th 2024. Some online found Zuckerberg's appearance awkward, with the fighters appearing to ignore him. The video of Zuckerberg was widely reposted, with users recaptioning it and applying it to many different situations in which a figure might behave awkwardly.
Origin
On February 17th, 2024, Mark Zuckerberg appeared at UFC 298 in Anaheim, California. Dressed as a cornerman for Australian fighter Alexander Volkanovski, Zuckerberg milled around with other participants who appeared to not shake his hand when he offered it and to not allow him to help with passing various pieces of equipment around. Volkanovski lost the fight.[1] Zuckerberg was also visible in the audience in the front row during the course of the fight.
Video of Zuckerberg taken from the television screen by Stan Price (seen below) was posted shortly after midnight on the night of the fit, receiving over 9,500 likes in 20 hours.[2]

The video rapidly spread on Twitter / X, with users reposting and recaptioning it with new words. For example, @Teslaconomics on February 18th posted the version (seen below top) that compared Zuckerberg to a "nice kid" trying hang out with "bad kids," earning over 15,000 likes in the course of a day.[3] Other posters joked about Zuckerberg behaving in a robotic manner, a frequent thread in memes about the Meta CEO, like @CensoredMen who received over 64,000 likes in a day on February 18th (seen below bottom).[4]
On TikTok, posters commented on Zuck's appearance at the fight. @jackmacbarstool criticized Zuckerberg's appearance, calling it a video of "Zuck trying to act human," receiving over 800,000 views and 68,000 likes in one day (seen below left) on February 18th, 2024.[5] Meanwhile, the UFC's official TikTok account shared a clip of Zuckerberg at a different point in the night, when a fighter reached out to touch Zuckerberg's hand. This clip (seen below right) earned over 82,000 likes and 1.2 million views in a day on February 18th.[6]
