About
Maut Aajaye Par X Na Aaye refers to a series of exploitable snowclone memes featuring black and white inkblot art of a man kicking his leg, with Hindi text to the left that translates to, "Let death come but x shouldn't come." The meme originally read, "मौत आजाये पर किसी पे दिल न आये," which translates to "Death may come but love shouldn't." The meme grew popular in Indian Instagram meme communities after March 2022, with a popular recaptioned variation being "Maut aajaya par ghar par rishtedaar na aaye" (Let death come but no relatives should come home).
