Ninja Broke Up With Some Guys refers to a stream recording of Twitch streamer Tyler "Ninja" Blevins saying that he has broken with "some guys" in the past. Online, the footage has been used in various remixes to mock the streamer.

Origin

On January 4th, 2019, during a live broadcast on Twitch[1], streamer Ninja offered dating advice to one of his fans. Talking about his past relationships, Ninja said that he "broken up with girls, some guys" and later clarifying that he was kidding.

On January 8th, 2019, Twitter user @ImReeeK[2] combined the stream fragment with a clip of Twitch streamer Actionjaxonbtw slapping Ninja's buttocks accompanied and the song "Treasure" by Bruno Mars:"https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/people/bruno-mars" (shown below). The tweet gained over 17,100 retweets and 1.4 million views in three weeks.


In the following days, the video was reposted by several Instagram and YouTube accounts, with new edits of the footage appearing on Instagram.

In one of his following streams, Ninja reacted[4] to the edit posted by @ImReeeK.

On January 10, Dexterto[3] posted an article covering @ImReeeK's clip and Ninja's reaction to it.
