Nintendo AAA ($60) refers to a series of memes in which the 2021 Nintendo video game Kirby and the Forgotten Land is compared against arbitrary things. The trend parodies a bait tweet comparing the Nintendo game against PlayStation and PC video game Kena: Bridge of Spirits and gained popularity on Twitter in late September 2021 as a phrasal template in image macro memes.
Origin
On September 23rd, 2021, the 3D platformer video game Kirby and the Forgotten Land was announced[1] during a Nintendo Direct broadcast (announcement trailer shown below).
On the same day, Twitter[2] user @AEGRO_84 made a post in which he compared the graphics of the game against the graphics of PlayStation and PC video game Kena: Bridge of Spirits released on September 21st, 2021. The post received over 420 retweets and 3,400 likes (shown below).

On September 23rd, 2021, Twitter[3] user @Kirby0Louise replied with the first tweet that reused the format, comparing an out-of-bounds screenshot of Grand Turismo 7 against a screenshot from Super Mario Odyssey, gaining 48 retweets and over 1,400 likes (shown below, left). On September 24th, 2021, Twitter[4] user @PMS_Jordan copied the format in a tweet comparing Kirby and the Forgotten Land against Psychonauts 2. The post received 47 retweets and over 600 likes (shown below, right).
Later on September 24th, Twitter user @GeorgeOD_ posted the first tweet to reuse the format for meme purposes, replacing the comparison game with a photograph of eSports athlete Larry Lurr. The post received over 330 retweets and 3,700 likes (shown below, left).
On September 25th, multiple Twitter users posted versions of the meme, comparing Kirby and the Forgotten Land against memes and arbitrary images. For example, Twitter user @ExpandDong15 posted a meme referencing the Pringles vs. Donkey Kong raids which gained 620 retweets and over 8,600 likes (shown below, center). Twitter user @aBOreSSs posted a meme that received over 1,200 retweets and 12,400 likes (shown below, right).
The format maintained a notable presence on Twitter in the following days.
