About
Pajeet is a fake Indian name and slang term often used in a derogatory manner to refer to Indian, typically Hindu or Sikh, men on the internet. The phrase originates from discussions in 2015 on 4chan's /int/ board. The female equivalent of the term is "Pajeeta," with both terms finding wider usage outside of 4chan in the early 2020s. The term is sometimes extended to "Pajeet Kumar."

A July 2015 thread on 4chan's /int/[1] or "international" board contains the earliest known meme using the word "Pajeet" in reference to Indians. The image, which was posted on July 25th, 2015, is a variation of the Mehmet My Son meme mocking supposed Designated Shitting Streets in India.
