Pascal Siakam Possessed refers to memes and jokes about the Indiana Pacers power forward Pascal Siakam rolling his eyes back into his head during a team huddle ahead of Game 6 of the NBA finals against Oklahoma City Thunder (OKC) in June 2025. The basketball player was recorded looking upward with his eyes half closed alongside his team, prompting memes and jokes about the player turning into a "demon." The jokes were exacerbated by the Pacers' win against OKC, and spurred on by previous jokes about the Indiana Pacers performing "dark magic" to win NBA games in 2025. The memes are not unlike jokes about the Chiefs performing Satanic rituals that went viral in 2024. A clip of Siakam looking over OKC player Jalen Williams also began making the rounds after Game 6, with internet users joking about Siakam "taking" Williams' soul.

Origin

The Indiana Pacers played the Oklahoma City Thunder for Game 6 of the 2025 NBA Finals on June 19th, 2025. The Pacers had come together for a group huddle before the game began when power forward Pascal Siakam was recorded raising his head from the huddle and looking upwards with only the whites of his eyes showing, seemingly doing a prayer.

X user @SnapshotKyle posted a clip of the scene to X^[1] on June 19th, 2025, gathering over 200,000 views and 1,200 likes in a day. The post was captioned, "Pascal Siakam is locked in for Game 6 😂💀"

The Pacers went on to win the game against OKC 108-91, with Siakam scoring 16 points and prompting memes and jokes about being a "demon possessed."
