Karen Julieth Ojeda Rodriguez, widely known by her alias La Muñeca or Colombian Hitwoman "The Doll," is a 23-year-old Colombian woman accused of masterminding a string of targeted murders, including the assassination of her ex-boyfriend, Deyvy Jesus. The Colombian hitwoman's arrest in early December 2024 became a viral topic on the internet, with some netizens suggesting American actress Aubrey Plaza should work on a movie about La Muñeca's story, while others also posted memes, jokes and comments about The Doll's attractive appearance during her arrest to express their thirst.

On December 2nd, 2024, the X^[1] page @BLUSantanderes posted Colombian police footage showing the arrest of "La Muñeca" (or "The Doll") for illegal possession of firearms in Santander. The woman is accused of participating in several homicides that occurred in Barrancabermeja, Colombia. The post (seen below) amassed more than 180,000 views and 430 likes in four days.

According to the Express Tribune^[2] tabloid, Karen Julieth Ojeda Rodriguez, known by her alias "La Muñeca," is described by the local police as a “dangerous hitwoman.” Local news outlet Diario del Norte^[3] says Rodriguez has been second-in-command of gang-related violence for the control of drug trafficking in the country’s northern region of Santander. Rodriguez allegedly also orchestrated the murder of her ex-boyfriend in a setup disguised as a meeting to discuss an economic dispute.^[4]

The Doll's perceived attractiveness gained viral attention on X / Twitter and Reddit as users shared memes and engaged in debates about who could portray the criminal in a future biopic.
