Jax, Look, I Know We Don't Get Along, But… is an exploitable meme and phrasal template based on a scene from the final episode of The Amazing Digital Circus in which the character Kaufmo talks to Jax, saying that even though they don't get along, he may have found a way out of the Digital Circus.

The last episode of TADC was released on the Glitch Productions YouTube channel on June 19th, 2026, after a limited release in theaters. The meme format was popularized on X / Twitter and Bluesky over the following days. As a meme, the dialogue and image of Kaufmo are typically changed to have him tell Jax a different discovery.

Origin

The scene is from the final episode of The Amazing Digital Circus titled, "Remember,"^[1] which first premiered in theaters as part of "The Last Act" on June 4th, 2026, and was released to the GLITCH YouTube^[2] channel on June 19th, 2026.

In the scene, Pomni goes through Jax's memories while he's in an abstracted form. In one of his memories, Kaufmo talks to Jax and tells him that although they don't get along anymore, he may have found a way out of the Digital Circus.

"Jax, look, I know we don't get along, but I think I might have found a way out of here."

On June 20th, X^[3] / Twitter user @forever_gf618 posted a meme based on the scene where they edit a TV playing Gravity Falls into the background next to Kaufmo. The post reads, "Jax, look. I know we don't get along, but I think I might have found who the author of the journals is," gaining over 4,600 likes in four days. This is the earliest known version of the meme.

Spread

The "I Know We Don't Get Along" meme continued to spread on X / Twitter and Bluesky over the following days, becoming increasingly elaborate as participants edited Kaufmo's appearance along with the quote.

On June 20th, 2026, X^[4] user @Crestamorph posted a version reading, "Jax, look. I know we don't get along, but I think I might have found who let the dogs out," gaining over 32,000 likes in four days.

Later that day, X^[5] user @Ridiculous_Ties posted a version of the meme where Kaufmo shows Jax the 6-7 meme, referencing the pose that his hands are in in the screenshot, garnering over 152,000 likes and 22,000 reposts in four days.

On June 21st, 2026, Bluesky^[6] user avidgladiator posted a version of the meme in which Kaufmo has been edited to look like the Angry Video Game Nerd, gaining over 2,600 likes in three days.

On June 22nd, X^[7] user @geek_ender posted a version of the meme where the scene has been edited to resemble Hazbin Hotel, gaining over 145,000 likes in two days.

The meme was reposted to the /r/TheDigitalCircus^[8] subreddit on June 23rd, 2026, garnering over 3,400 upvotes in a day.
