SsethTzeentach is a gaming YouTuber who is known for his humorous reviews of various video games. He is known for presenting himself as an African warlord with a photo of Congolese military instructor Kongolo Nadiane.[2] He is also known for his dark sense of humor, which is shown in his videos where he often references various memes and jokes from 4chan. and the like. As of August 2019, the channel has over 480,000 subscribers.

History

Sseth's channel was created on July 10th, 2007.[1] As of August 30th, 2019, the earliest upload on it was posted as far back as 2012. The first couple of these videos being montage parodies, the first two being of League of Legends and Farming Simulator. The first video currently has over 970,000 views (below, left) and the second has over 4 million (below, right)

Sseth posted his first review two years later, on September 19th, 2014 for the game Might and Magic VI (shown below, left). The video to date has over 440,000 views. Sseth would continue with these reviews in the years to come, gaining himself a notable internet following, with multiple reviews gaining over a million hits. To date, his most popular review is his review of The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind which has over 2 million views (shown below, right).

Sseth is a well known gaming personality on YouTube. Many of his more recent videos have attained view counts in the millions, and many of the games he covered in his videos have large boosts in player bases due to his reviews.[4] Such games include Kenshi and Starsector. Sseth has a notable following online, resulting in him having his own TVTropes[3] page and subreddit.[5] In addition, his videos are popular among large Twitch streamers including Forsen, Asmongold, and Sodapoppin who have reacted to his videos multiple times on stream (shown below).

He's also been known for various stunts, such as in his review of God Hand. Where he states that he used the money ExpressVPN in sponsoring the review to commission hentai of the character Olivia (shown below, 9:35), much to the surprise and delight of his viewers.


Origin story video

In a humorous video not directly related to video games, Sseth develops his persona based around Kongolo Nadiane's picture, assuming a fake, stereotypical accent, and describes himself as a former congolese child soldier who fled his army to pursue a better life and who eventually met a dying man whose last words encouraged him to become a "Youtube superstar" to escape a life of struggle and devastation. Jokes used in the videos involve Sseth crafting an Nvidia GPU by combining lemons and charcoal found in a trash bin, and the dying man offering him is Alienware gaming laptop before passing away. Sseth concludes the video by returning to his regular voice, stating that since the events, he changed his name and voice to "appeal to the white devils", and does not actually know what video games are.
