About
Ronaldo Pasta is a series of memes based on a clip from a MrBeast video where streamer Kai Cenat serves YouTuber and streamer IShowSpeed a plate of "Ronaldo Pasta," a pasta dish inspired by IShowSpeed's favorite football (soccer) player, Cristiano Ronaldo.
The clip originates from a challenge in the July 2024 video "50 YouTubers Fight For $1,000,000," where contestants must cook a dish and serve it to judges, one of the judges being Speed. It first became the subject of edits in July 2025 and was popularized as a meme, including a brainrot meme, in July 2026 on TikTok and Instagram Reels.
Origin
On July 13th, 2024, YouTuber[1] MrBeast uploaded a video titled "50 YouTubers Fight For $1,000,000," gaining over 478 million views in two years.
In the video, 50 YouTubers compete in a variety of challenges for a prize of $1,000,000. About 25 minutes into the video, the remaining contestants pair up and are tasked with cooking a dish for three judges: Miranda Cosgrove, IShowSpeed and Joey Chestnut. At the 29:36 timestamp, Kai Cenat brings his dish, "Ronaldo Pasta," to IShowSpeed, announcing that it's inspired by the "best football player of all time," Cristiano Ronaldo, who Speed is a fan of. Speed ultimately does not like the pasta and gives Cenat a score of five out of 10.
One of the earliest known edits of the clip was posted by YouTuber[2] deagzzzshorts on April 18th, 2025, garnering over 61 million views in a year.

On July 9th, 2026, TikToker[3] @roccavellli posted a meme edit referencing the Ronaldo Pasta clip, garnering over 800,000 views in a week.
