About

Magic Poser is a 3D modeling application that allows users to position three dimensional figures in any position by dragging their body parts with the sliders or the mouse. Online, primarily on TikTok, people user the figures to animate comedy videos, positioning the characters to mimick different dance moves.

History

On July 13th, 2017, Magic Poser launched on iOS and Android. That day, the company published a video about the application. They wrote, "The new Magic Poser app is launched on iOS and Android! Only app that supports posing multiple figures! Please help retweet" (shown below).

Features

The application is primarily used to position 3D models. Users can use either their mouse, finger, stylus or a series of sliders to position the characters in different ways. When the user moves their finger around the screen, the camera angle on the app changes. Each character features a series of shapes at specific points on the body. Tapping on these points lets the user move the different body parts (screenshots from web app below).[1]
