Overview
The Ironmouse VShojo Controversy and VShojo's Collapse refers to backlash against VTuber talent agency VShojo after prominent VTuber and streamer Ironmouse announced she was leaving the company, believing they did not pay her a significant portion of her funds and that they owed the Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF) charity over half a million dollars. Ironmouse posted a video titled "Why I Left VShojo" on July 21st, 2025. In the video, she describes her struggles with common variable immune deficiency (CVID) and why the donations to the IDF charity mattered so much to her. The video inspired widespread criticism towards VShojo, with many other VTubers under their management leaving in solidarity with Ironmouse, including AmaLee, Kuro, Kson, Melody and more. Over the next few days, Ironmouse raised over a million dollars for the IDF charity through her Tiltify account. On July 24th, VShojo put out a statement claiming that the company was shutting down.
Background
On July 21st, 2025, VTuber Ironmouse posted a video to YouTube[1] titled "Why I Left VShojo," garnering over a million views in a day. In the video, Ironmouse claims she left her management company, VShojo, because they owed her what she believes to be a significant amount of funds and because they allegedly owe the IDF charity over $500,000.
She explains what the charity means to her and that she suffers from common variable immune deficiency (CVID), an immunodeficiency that causes her to remain isolated for long periods of her life. She talks about starting streaming to have a social life and using a VTuber avatar because she's too shy to show her face.
Ironmouse explains that she felt pressured and guilt-tripped by VShojo into signing. Allegedly, they told her they needed her to succeed, which made her feel responsible for "everybody." At one point, Ironmouse decided to pull her funds and become independent of her own finances. She talks about how she has raised over $4 million for IDF charity over the years of streaming.
She talks about wanting to donate the proceeds of her recent two subathons to the charity. During the first subathon, because the money came from Twitch revenue instead of Tiltify, VShojo had to make the donation on her behalf, which they did. In her follow-up subathon, she raised over $500,000 for the charity. She then claims that VShojo has not donated that money over a year later.
Later that day on July 21st, fellow VTuber and VShojo streamer Kson tweeted an image calling upon VShojo to explain and answer, promoting an upcoming stream. The X[15] post received over 5.6 million views, 51,000 likes and 340 replies in two days.
During the stream, Kson spoke with the VShojo JP CEO and claimed that the company hadn't paid her since September and that she would be leaving this month.[16]

Then, early on July 22nd, 2025, Kson quit VShojo and called the company's CEO during the livestream to ask questions about the controversy. The interview was later reposted to YouTube by Nina Clippa, receiving over 404,000 views, 16,000 likes and 2,000 comments in three days.
