Overview

Forgotten Memories is a multiplayer survival horror Roblox experience and Five Nights at Freddy's fan game by Qubix Games where players must survive 13 nights at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria against the animatronic creatures from the FNAF series. The full game was officially released on October 15th, 2022 and was visited over 16 million times that month, becoming a popular Let's Play game on YouTube.

History

On October 4th, 2022, The Qubix Games YouTube^[1] channel posted a trailer for Forgotten Memories, garnering over 152,000 views in three weeks (shown below). The trailer received largely positive reception in the comments, with people commenting on how scary it looks.

The game was released officially on Roblox_^[2] on October 15th, 2022. Its release was tweeted by the @QubixGames Twitter^[3] account, garnering over 100 likes in two weeks. The game's Roblox description reads:

After a group of friends take a security job at an abandoned pizzeria, they slowly start to uncover the mystery behind the abandonment of Five Night's at Freddy's.

The experience became very popular that month, gaining over 16.7 million visits and 365,000 favorites by October 26th. On October 16th, YouTuber^[4] KreekKraft posted a video doing a Let's Play video of the game, garnering over 600,000 views in 10 days (shown below). This is one of the first popular videos uploaded playing the game.

Online Presence

The month the game was released in October 2022, it became popular on YouTube^[5][6] in Let's Play videos. For example, on October 17th, 8-Bit Ryan played the game, garnering over 510,000 views in nine days (shown below, left). On October 22nd, Flamingo played the game, garnering over 1.3 million views in four days (shown below, right).
