About
The Frollo Show is a YouTube Poop series created by Youtuber chincherrinas based on footages from several TV shows and movies (primarily The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Beauty and The Beast, and Panty & Stocking) which follows the misadventures of Frollo and Gaston. Since its inception in 2011, the series has gain notable online following due to being able to devise a plot which is uncommon among YouTube Poop videos.
Origin
On July 19th, 2011, YouTube user chincherrinas[1] uploaded a video titled "The Frollo Show episode 1 – Frollo Faps to a Firefighters calendar" which is a remix of scenes involving Frollo from Disney's The Hunchback of Notredame with footages from other shows and movies. As of April, 2015, the video has gathered more than 42.000 views.
Spread
On September 10th, 2011, chincherrinas uploaded a follow up video titled "The Frollo Show episode 2 – Frollo Strikes Back" (shown below left) which has gathered more than 32.000 views as of April, 2015 and October 6th, 2011, uploaded the third episode titled "Frollo Saves The World" (shown below right) which has gathered more than 35.000 views as of April, 2015.
In late 2011, The Frollo Show twitter page was created and as of April, 2015, has gathered up more than 220 followers[2]. August 24th, 2012, The Frollo Show entry was submitted to the YouTube Poop Wiki[3]. On January 28th, 2013, The Frollo Show Wiki was created and as of April, 2015, contain 128 articles regarding the series[4]. The Frollo Show official Facebook page which created on April, 2012 currently has more than 590 likes as of April, 2015[5].
The series ran for a total of 17 episodes with episode 9 being divided to 5 parts, episode 16 divided to 2 parts, and episode 17 divided to 3 parts. The conclusion of the seris was uploaded within three parts; part one was uploaded on January 10th, 2014. Part 2 was uploaded on August 3rd, 2014. and an extra part was uploaded on January 25th, 2015. Each of the three videos have gathered more than 10.000 views as of April, 2015.
The Bros Pose
The Bros Pose is the signature memetic pose of The Frollo Show. The pose originated from the episode "Frollo Gets AIDS"[6], where Frollo and Gaston pose to celebrate the purchase of the Magic Fire. Fans of the series has since made their own versions of the bros pose with their chosen characters.
