The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a 1975 musical comedy film which follows a young engaged couple as they encounter a group of eccentric aliens after their car breaks down. The movie gained a large cult following at regular midnight screenings, where attendees often cosplay as various characters from the film.
After attending their friend's wedding, Janet Weiss (played by Susan Sarandon) and Brad Majors (played by Barry Bostwick) decide to get married and plan a trip to visit their old college professor. After their car breaks down on the way to meet him, they decide to go to a neighboring castle to call for assistance. At the castle they are introduced to an eccentric cast of characters, including the scientist, his "creation" Rocky, and various attendees of a "Transylvania Convention." Eventually, the couple discover that the inhabitants of the castle are from the planet Transsexual in the galaxy of Transylvania.
